Service & Warranty
Unique full 5-year warranty when purchasing a Franke tap.
• Franke kitchen and sanitary taps meet all applicable standards and carry the KIWA quality mark.
• All Franke cranes are produced and tested under strict control before delivery.
• Franke guarantees its products for a period of 5 years. However, this warranty is only granted in combination with a valid purchase invoice, completed and returned response card and provided that regular maintenance1 has been carried out. The warranty period starts on the date of purchase/delivery.
• Chrome or paint damage must be reported within 8 days and before installation of the tap. After this period no guarantee can be given.
• Within the 5-year warranty period, all parts with defects caused by material, construction and/or manufacturing defects are supplied free of charge.
• Free service is also provided in the first 5 years of the warranty period and within the conditions (no labor costs or call-out costs will be charged).
• The warranty period is not renewed or extended by a repair or parts delivery.
1) Maintenance is understood to mean; regularly cleaning the tap, keeping moving parts free of limescale, regularly cleaning the perculator (strainer in the tap spout), etc.
Not covered by the warranty:
• Damage caused by careless use, carelessness or intentional damage.
• Damage caused by installation or by repairing the tap yourself.
• Malfunctions due to contaminated pipes, calcification or impurities such as copper and solder residue and/or sand or other metal parts are caused by careless installation.
• Damage to the surface due to the use of aggressive chemical or abrasive cleaning agents and color differences in surfaces other than chrome-plated.
• Warranties are void if repairs have been carried out by unauthorized persons or if parts from another manufacturer are used.
• No warranty is provided for hand showers and hoses that become defective due to insufficient maintenance or mechanical stress.
